Green Room Owner Launches New Service for Jaco

Published on

New service features prepared meals, meats and wines.

The Green Room recently started a new project to sell food and premium artisanal products to help promote smaller businesses in the Jaco community.  The profits in this case will be intended to provide a relief fund for the employees of Green Room (25 people and their families), who have all suffered a loss of income during the shutdown.
So far there are a lot of great options like grass fed beef, chicken Milanese, homemade raviolis, and free range eggs.  The list includes many more choices of meats, breads, dairy products, prepared meals and wine. All of the products can be conveniently delivered to anyone living in the Jaco area.  Raquel Salazar, owner of the Green Room came up with and helped organize the idea.  She is hoping for this to just be the start.  Raquel said,  “We will also be getting more products. We also want to make it a platform to get local products and have other people sell through us.”  The support is very much needed for her staff.  Just this last week she has been able to help one family with essentials like diapers and food.
This is just one of many ways we are seeing the Jaco community adapt and help with supporting each other.  For more information please check out their site here.
