Jose’s Crocodile Tour Looks For Support After Thieves Take Boat Motors

Published on

If you’ve been to Costa Rica, chances are that you’ve been on Jose’s Crocodile River Tour. Jose Eduardo has been running his entertaining tours for the past 12+ years.

Many celebrities have been on Jose’s Crocodile tour such as renowned surfers Bethany Hamilton and Rob Machado, actress Marcia Gay Harden, former professional mix martial art Ronda Rousey and current President of Costa Rica Carlos Alvarado.
Due to Covid19 and the international borders closing, Jose hasn’t been able to operate his tours since March, 2020. (Border for some international travelers have been reopened on August 1st).  To add to the difficult year, on June 18, 2020 Jose Eduardo’s boat motors were stolen from the Tarcoles River. These were the only two motors he owns and which he used to run his famous Jose’s Crocodile River Tour.  The motors were two Suzuki 200HP outboard motors valued at just under $20,000 each.

Jose really wished to recover his stolen motors but unfortunately now nearly 2 months later that hasn’t happened.  Over the years on his tour Jose has generously hosted groups such as the Freedom Alliance veterans, missionaries and numerous schools and organizations that have done clean up of the river for recycling. Your helpful donations will be used to fund one new motor to get business running again plus for many new safety measures. He will also be able to re-employ some of the employees that had to be laid off. The rest of the money will be saved and put towards a second motor when business picks up to the level it was before the pandemic (could take a year or two).

Please help with any sort of contribution by making a quick donation here
Jose is extremely grateful for everyones kindness towards getting him and his family back on his feet!  ANYONE GIVING A DONATION WILL RECEIVE A FREE TOUR FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS TO USE IN 2021.
